Homeland Secure IT's "Secure IT Alerts" is used only to announce operating system, software/application and other security related announcements, such as vulnerabilities, patches, updates & major virus or malware outbreaks. Posts to this list are aimed at system administrators and those charged with keeping their network secure. It is not specific to Microsoft, Mac, Servers, or Desktops and we do not announce every possible threat and fix, just the ones we have determined to affect the majority of our readership. Frequency is low, usually no more than once per week.
