John brings over 30 years of real-world computer and network experience, encompassing Unix, Linux, *BSD, Amiga, Sun Solaris, Apple / Mac, and Microsoft  operating systems. He has extensive network, security and server knowledge.  John’s articles have been published in Amiga World, PC Computing, Nuts & Volts and various trade journals. John’s areas of expertise include spam abatement, email solutions and the uncanny ability to fix almost anything. John has been a professional musician, playing guitar/bass for the better part of his life. John’s wife Pamela and two children, Megan and Brett are his focal point outside of Homeland Secure IT, second only to his relationship with Christ.

Pamela, a Greenville native, has worked in the financial industry for many years with her family’s business, McAbee’s Custom Carpet, handling all aspects of accounting.  Having a Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson in Industrial Management with a minor in Computer Information Systems, Pamela also worked for years with a local Employee Benefits firm administering Benefit Plans for area businesses.  As if keeping up with the busy lives of two wonderful twenty-something children is not enough, she enjoys getting involved in many hobbies with her husband, John, with music, amateur radio, and cooking, to name a few!

Wes Ellison – Network Engineer

Wes has been working in IT for over fifteen years with a very wide variety of technology from notebook, laptop netbook, tablet and desktop workstation maintenance, repair, renew, troubleshooting and general support to Microsoft Windows Server & Linux Server systems. Wes has worked for Duke Energy at the nuclear facility and previously at GE. Wes’ hobbies are even technology based, including amateur radio, where he builds and repairs radio equipment, maintains repeaters and experiments with new and exciting modes of operation.
